Founded circa 1890, the Norwalk Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that manages and leases four buildings from the City of Norwalk.  Three buildings are located at  Mill Hill Historic Park (2 East Wall Street), which contains a 1835 Town House (Meeting House), 1826 one-room school house (Little Red Schoolhouse) and c.1740 Governor Thomas Fitch Law Office, along with the Mill Hill cemetery (3rd oldest).  The fourth building is the Norwalk Historical Society Museum (141 East Avenue) located on the campus of Norwalk City Hall (125 East Avenue) in a federal style house (1973). All to bring Norwalk’s history from the past to the present. Your tax-deductible gift will help preserve these valuable resources that educate and unite our community.
