Visit: Mill Hill Historic Park (2 East Wall Street), which contains a 1835 Town House (Meeting House), 1826 one-room school house (aka Little Red Schoolhouse), c.1740 Governor Thomas Fitch Law Office, Colonial Herb Garden and the Mill Hill cemetery (3rd oldest in Norwalk).

Visit: The Norwalk Historical Society Museum (141 East Avenue) located on the campus of Norwalk City Hall (125 East Avenue) in a  beautiful Colonial Revival style house (1973).  Built through the generous donations from the families of  Manice deForest Lockwood and his cousin Julia Belden Lockwood estates.
