Norwalk’s Poet Laureate, Bill Hayden, invites you to come for an enchanting afternoon of soulful poetry amidst nature’s embrace at Back to The Garden – Poetry in the Park at Mill Hill Historic Park, 2 East Wall Street, Norwalk, CT. Immerse yourself in the lush surroundings as talented poets take the stage to share their work.
Featured poet is Ralph Nazareth, retired college English professor, poet, publisher, and promoter of poetry in Fairfield County.
Open mic slots available on first-come, first served basis. Sign up to read two poems in advance of the event by emailing the host of the event Norwalk’s Poet Laureate, Bill Hayden.
Seating is limited. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket. Bring your loved ones and let the words transport you, inspire you and perhaps challenge you. Don’t miss out on this magical afternoon overlooking the Norwalk River at the site’s annual herb garden in full flower!
In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside the Town House at Mill Hill Historic Park.
