From 10am-2pm on Saturday July 11, the Norwalk Historical Society joins New Haven, Fairfield, and Westport/Green Farms in a special regional partnership, “Revisiting the 1779 British Raids,” commemorating the coastal British raids that swept through Connecticut during the American Revolution.
This event features Revolutionary War history, equipment demonstrations, and children’s drills. Visitors can also tour the Little Red Schoolhouse, Governor Fitch Law Office, the Town House, the Battle & Burning of Norwalk exhibit, and Norwalk’s third oldest cemetery. No ticket required.
