See Norwalk’s past for yourself with a tour of the Museum or Mill Hill! Exhibits in these two NHS locations showcase local history, dating back to the prehistoric era.

Lectures

Join us live for the Norwalk Historical Society’s (currently Virtual) Lecture Series, as well as a Digital Archive of past lectures.

Events

Join us in person at Mill Hill for the annual July 4th Independence Day Bell Ringing and A Haunting at Mill Hill in the Burying Ground at Halloween!

Education

Experience the past! Since 1982, the Little Red Schoolhouse Program has educated generations of Norwalk school children about Norwalk’s rich history.

Preservation

NHS keeps the past alive with its House Plaque Program, by providing access to research for historic homeowners, and recognition of over 100 historic Norwalk properties.
